Kubuntu, Mary, and Me

29Oct08

Don’t mind me.  I’m not posting like crazy lately because I’m getting used to a new OS, Kubuntu, because a friend told me she uses it (we’ll test her to see if she really reads my blog often. If she hops up and down in the comments, she passes /tease).

I used to use Ubuntu, the gnome version, but I’ll tell you I could get used to this.  Kubuntu is a bit of a learning curve for me but since I’m using KDE4 it looks half-slick.

Besides cruising the repositories for kewl software to use, I’m looking up philosophers like Mary Wollstonecraft, who was Mary Shelley’s mum, and tweaking my links so they accurately reflect my burning interests.

Hmmn, ok, admittedly that’s not gripping stuff, but since I’m committed to writing on my blog nearly everyday readers often just have to take what they get.

Hey, someday my winning attitude will earn me fame. ❤
